Boeing 707 Panel for FS95 ------------------------- Version 2.0 Requires 800 x 600 resolution Freeware Introduction ------------ This panel is designed as a Boeing 707 cockpit. This panel includes rescaled airspeed indicator and B707 ADI. It also includes a true airspeed indicator and analogue machmeter (as far as I know the latter is a first for an FS95 panel). The autopilot has been redesigned to look more typical for a 1960s aircraft. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ------------------------- 1. Unzip the files in a temporary directory. 2. Copy all .pnl, .pix, .icn, .bnd, .ndl to \Panels directory 3. Copy all .gau to \Panels\Gauges directory 4. Edit your Panelset.fs6 file, changing H BJE4 to H B707 OR -- Use PANMAN, BSPANEL or other panel manager to assign the new panels. Note about autopilot --------------------- The 707 panel's autopilot does not include any digital readouts (it does not have a wing-leveller either). When selected the heading and altitude hold settings default to the current heading/altitude (similar to default Lear panel), but they can be changed using the heading dial and altitude wheel. To change the nav course, use the knob on the HSI. Note about flaps ---------------- This panel is designed to work with a 6-notch flight model (a real 707 has 6 flap notches) rather than a 9-notch flight model (most converted FSFS big jets). I recommend you download ADE98 in order to change the number of flap notches. This must be done BEFORE assigning the panel using a panel manager, as ADE98 doesn't like non-standard panel codes.
