Compiled with Scenery MAKER (tm). Just Double click the Tstar699.exe file. This will un-zip the files for you to the Directory: C:\Tstar699 You can change the default directory if you need to. You will also be given the option to use WinZip to Un-zip the Tstar699.exe file if you want to. THE FILE HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN THIS FORM - BECAUSE I HAVE HAD A LOT OF e-mails FROM PEOPLE WHO DO NOT USE WinZip - BUT OTHER UN-ZIP PROGRAMS - WHICH FAIL TO UN-ZIP THE FILES CORRECTLY. Full Install instructions are contained within the Tstar699.exe file. Please take the time to read this Install Text as it will help you put the files in the correct folders within FS98. The Tstar699.zip contains the following: Tstar699 FOLDER CONTAINING: Install.txt --> Text file - you are now reading it. File_id.diz --> The project information for site uploads. Tstar699.gif --> Picture. Tstar699.bmp --> Picture. SCENERY FOLDER CONTAINING: 4 x .bgl files --> Put these in your default FS98 "Scenery" folder. e.g. C:\Flt-sim98\Scenery TEXTURE FOLDER CONTAINING: 2 x .r8 files --> Put these in your default FS98 "Texture" folder. e.g. C:\Flt-sim98\Texture 22 x .af files --> Put these in your default FS98 "Texture" folder. e.g. C:\Flt-sim98\Texture 8 x .tst files --> Put these in your default FS98 "Texture" folder. e.g. C:\Flt-sim98\Texture PILOTS FOLDER CONTAINING: 2 x .stn files --> Put these in your default FS98 "Pilots" folder. e.g. C:\Flt-sim98\Pilots After you have put the files in the correct places start Flight- Simulator 98 as normal. To find the scenery just select the Go To Airports Menu, when that menu has opened follow the instructions below under IMPORTANT. IMPORTANT: YOU NEED TO CLICK THE RIGHT BUTTON 'Scenery 6.0 and before' otherwise you will not see AIRCRAFT TEST ISLAND listed. Alternatively you can click Flights, then click Select Flights and choose TEST ISLAND from the avalible flights list. TEST ISLAND SCENERY: TEST ISLAND scenery includes dynamic objects. You will need to set your Dynamic Objects to [ Very Dense ] and TICK ALL of the buttons on that menu so that they will be displayed. USING TEST ISLAND: To use Test Island to test your aircraft - set Scenery to [Very Sparse] and Un-tick all Buttons on that menu - set Dynamic Scenery to [Very Sparse] and Un-tick all Buttons on that menu - you will now get the best frame rates. THIS IS FREEWARE - You may distribute this scenery as long as you do not profit from it in any way, and this Install.txt file MUST be included and unaltered in any way.
