CFS MISSION EDITOR VERSION 3.0.0


CFS Mission Editor is based on MS Mission Editor EXCEL spreadsheet. 
To complete your understanding in creating missions, you should obtain 
and read the documentation for this EXCEL editor. 

Version 3.0.0 requires VB6 (SP3) runtime libraries which are included
in CFSMEV300_1.zip thru CFSMEV300_2.zip. 

NOTE TO PREVIOUS USERS: Sorry I did not provide an update for this release. 
The difference in size did not warrant it. You will have to download 
CFSMEV300_1.zip thru CFSMEV300_2.zip as well.

NEW/FIXES FOR VERSION 3.0.0

· Improved Ground Layout and Stationary objects loading, editing and saving.

· Refined Point assignment (targets vs non-targets) for individual Stationary objects.

· Add/delete Stationary objects to/from a layout.

· Selective Path Overlays 

· Option to build a catalog of mission files. This catalog contains details about 
  each mission (similar to the CFS Single Mission screen).

· Option to compact the database. This is required from time to time as the 
database grows. 

· Drag/drop mission (loading) and aircraft (adding new AC) files. By associating 
  *.mis file types with CFS Mission Editor, double clicking a missions file will 
  start the editor and load the mission.

· Added ability to decrease/increase sound volume.

· Improved documentation including screen layouts and hyper links.

· Numerous bug fixes.

· IMPORTANT. Upgraded from VB5 to VB6 (SP3)

NOTE: CFS documentation file (Mission Ed.doc) will be placed in the same folder
you install CFS Mission Editor. Please read it!!!!

INSTALLATION

- Dearchive this zip file into a temp folder and double click Setup.exe 
- Follow the direction on the screen. 
- That is it.
