Yakovlev Yak-40 Panel Version 2.0 for Microsoft FS2000 by Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de April 22, 2001 Thank you for download this panel. Now here is Version 2.0 of my Yakovlev Yak-40 Panel for FS2000. Like in Version 1.0 for FS98 the Altimeter, Vertical Speed, Airspeed and Radioalt are metric Gauges. This new Version is now fully FS2000 compatible which means that the Instruments are illuminated and the VSI is working correct. Version 2.0 is not a rework of the old Yak-40 Panel. It's a completely new Panel which is based on better photos of a newer Yak-40 Aircraft. The Panelbitmap is completely reworked and I think it looks much better now. The first thing you will recognize is the new Overhead Panel Layout. This Bitmap now based on the real Yak-40 Cockpit (in Version 1.0 I've used the Overhead Part from a Yak-42 because I had no Information about the real Overhead Panel when I designed it). Another important thing which I've changed are the primary Instruments. Version 1.0 of my Yak-40 Panel based on an older Aircraft. This Instruments are now from a newer and much better equipped Yak. Instructions The most Instruments (primary and Engine Instruments) should be clear. Please don't search for the old lower Panel, because it doesn't exist any longer. You also don't need a Throttle Gauge because the N2 Indicators works very precise. For all other things I wrote a separate Manual in HTML format which could be found in your Yak-40 Panel folder. Please read it! Installation: Unzip the gauges.zip to your Flightsim main Gauges directory. If you already have some of the gauges you don't need to delete them. They should be the same. Unzip the Panel.zip and replace the panel.cfg file to the panel folder of your favourite aircraft. For more reality use a Yakovlev Yak-40. Credits: A lot of the used Gauges were reworked and repainted from other Freeware Panels. I would like to thank all of the Designers who makes it possible to create new Freeware Addons for our community. All Gauge Programmers I know are named below: Laurent Crenier for his Autobrake Gauge. Federico Permutti for translating the Autobrake Gauge. Glenn Copeland for his Parkbrake Gauge. Stefan Geissler who designed the N2 Gauges. Oscar Nava for the N2 illumination. Max Roodveldt and Oscar Nava for some of the metric Gauges. Max Roodveldt for his clock. Alex (Backfire) Bashkatov for some of his Gauges. Kevin Trinkle and Ernie Kennedy for some of the used Gauges (especially the Radios). Toni di Blassio for his Reverse Warnings. Guntram Strasser for his Weather Radar. Jon Shepherd and J.L. Stubbs for some of the used Gauges. The FPDA Team for some of the used Gauges. Andreas Jaros for some of the Warning Lights. Dai Griffiths for a lot of the used Gauges. Richard Probst and Paul Golding for the Autopilot. Richard Probst for the Flap Gauge. John Valley for his Fuel Flow Gauge. Christian Koegler for his Fuel Gauge. Chuck Dome for his Fuel-Select Gauge. If you are not listed above and you have programmed a Gauge which I've used in my Panel please forgive me for this mistake.
