The elected candidate(s) with the lowest number of votes in the election will be deemed to be filling the casual vacancy (ies). A casual vacancy is where a trustee does not complete the elected three year term of office, and the vacancy exists from the next duly scheduled trustee election until the completion of the three year period associated with this position. 2 A trustee may serve for no longer than six successive years, and the term of office of a reelected trustee will be reduced accordingly if the reelected trustee has already undertaken more than three successive years of office immediately prior reelection.
