On 21 September 1994, the votes were counted at ISOC HQ in Reston.  (A
total of 777 ballots were recieved from the Membership, and presented to
the committee in unopened envelopes). The ballots were divided into several
groups, opened and tallied by several ISOC members (Richard Binder, Charles
Brownstein, Steve Coya, and Anthony Rutkowski) with the assistance of the
ISOC staff.

The vote totals were as follows (top 5 ranks are elected, marked with "*"):

This was a very close election, consistent with the high quality of the
candidates. ISOC is deeply appreciative of the willingness of all for
running for this office, and looks forward to working with everyone in the
future. The results will be announced to the general membership tomorrow.
